Improving coordination, mobility and stability
At Kraxlwerk, we offer you the playful form of therapy of therapeutic climbing.
Climbing is an inherently interesting form of movement. Even in childhood, it is an essential building block of our development. Many dimensions of human experience and behavior (motor skills, cognition, emotions and more) are directly addressed, trained and promoted when climbing.
This is why this special form of therapy is increasingly being used for physiotherapeutic, ergonomic and psychological treatment goals.
Therapeutic climbing is used as a supplement to existing therapies or as a stand-alone intervention for preventive, curative or rehabilitative purposes.
The climbing wall
On an artificial climbing wall, individual tasks are created for you close to the ground. Depending on the objective, coordination, mobility and stability can be improved. Through targeted functional exercises, adults and children alike minimize their weaknesses in a playful way - no matter what the deficit is.
The Kraxlwerk masters teach this form of therapy with a lot of fun and motivation. Sport and therapy find their perfect combination here.
