Massage

Improves the metabolism, relaxes and activates the body

Massage serves to improve the metabolism and is used to relax and activate the body. At therapiewerk you will find a rich repertoire of relaxation masterpieces - from massage methods from conventional to traditional medicine.

Classic massage

Classic massage techniques are used to relax the muscles, help relieve tension and promote blood circulation.

As a result, the metabolism is stimulated and waste products are removed more easily. Your body feels light and pleasantly warm.

The classic massage helps with overloading and incorrect loading of the muscles and tendons, the spine and joints. Perfect relaxation for body, mind and soul.

Sports massage

At therapiewerk, we like to use massage as a complement to sports physiotherapy in order to offer athletes even more effective and performance-oriented care.

This form of massage is used exclusively for sports preparation and follow-up. Sports massage is particularly important as a targeted therapy during training-intensive phases and before and after competitions.

The primary aim is to promote the athlete's well-being and improve performance. The loosened muscles benefit not only competitive athletes but everyone who enjoys sport.

Connective tissue massage

Connective tissue massage refers to techniques that manually stimulate various layers of tissue. Various skin, subcutaneous tissue and fascia techniques not only achieve local effects at the site of manual action but also remote effects on internal organs via reflex arcs.

Our massage therapists specialize in achieving the optimum effect for you using individually adapted techniques.

Lymphatic drainage

During manual lymphatic drainage, our relaxation masters use a gentle pressure and pushing technique. These techniques stimulate and support lymphatic drainage. This makes it easier for the body to remove accumulated fluids (oedema) or bruising (haematoma) from the tissue.

The aim of manual lymphatic drainage is to reduce swelling and relieve pain by calming the autonomic nervous system.

At therapiewerk, these techniques are not only used for multidisciplinary treatment in the rehabilitation of injuries, but also for metabolic weaknesses or oncological diseases.

Foot reflexology

Targeted pressure on the sole of the foot sends reflex stimuli to the organs. This stimulation releases blockages and activates the body's self-healing powers. This special massage technique helps to relieve strain on the musculoskeletal system, the urinary tract, the respiratory tract and digestive problems.

Hot stone massage

The hot stone massage is a combination of a special oil massage on the energy lines (meridians) with the additional effect of hot stones. The hot basalt stones support the desired relaxation and stimulate the energy lines. This application is particularly helpful for muscle tension, headaches or insomnia, improves circulation, increases lymph flow and helps to calm stress.

APM

Acupuncture massage is a regulatory therapy and is based on the Chinese doctrine of Ying and Yang.
If the energy flow is interrupted, this can lead to pain and discomfort. APM releases blockages and promotes the body's natural flow. The aim is to balance and harmonize the energy circulation. This is why this form of therapy is also particularly effective for scar removal.

Cupping

In this ancient method, a vacuum is created using so-called cupping glasses. The cupping glass is either positioned stationary on the body or a cupping massage is performed by moving the glass. The suction effect increases blood circulation in the skin, subcutaneous tissue and connective tissue. The excellent stimulation stimulates the metabolism of the skin, muscles and organs. Blockages are released and the flow of energy in the body increases. The cupping massage causes muscular relaxation, purification and tissue tightening.
